How To Apply Swarovski Hotfix Rhinestones Using Hotfix Transfer Paper or Mylar Paper

Tired of searching the web looking for that perfect pre-made design or stencil for your next Hotfix Swarovski Rhinestone project? We have the perfect solution, its fun and easy! Just follow theses simple steps and your on your way to creating the perfect Swarovski Rhinestone design to apply to your favorite clothing! All you need is an iron and our Hot Fix Transfer Paper!

Step 1
Find the design you want to apply to your jeans, shirt, hat or anything else you can think of. Make sure you print or draw it to the size you need. You can draw your own! Then tape it or draw it on the smooth side of your hotfix transfer paper. Next, peel the white layer off exposing the sticky side of the hotfix or mylar transfer paper. Then apply your hotfix Swarovski Rhinestones (sparkly side down) to the sticky side of the mylar transfer paper.
 

 

 

Step 2
Remove your pattern from the Hotfix Transfer Paper. Have your article of clothing in position so you can center or place the design exactly where you want it. Then apply the stick side of the hotfix transfer or mylar paper to the piece of clothing of your choice. Hint: Before you place the hotfix transfer paper to the piece of clothing make sure you have your exact location ready.

 

Step 3
Have your iron plugged in and pre-heated for the proper fabric you are applying to. In this case we used the cotton setting to get the proper heat for the fabric of this tank top. Simply apply the iron to the hotfix transfer paper in the location of your Hotfix Swarovski Rhinestones. Allow the hot fix Swarovski Rhinestones to heat up long enough to melt the glue on the flat back of the Swarovski Rhinestone. We recommend at least 30 seconds depending on how hot the iron is...be careful you can discolor or burn your clothing, so keep an eye on your clothing and the ironing board.


 

Step 4
After you have applied the iron long enough to melt the glue on the back of the Hotfix Swarovski Rhinestones, it is time to remove the hotfix transfer paper or mylar paper from the article of clothing you used. Allow the fabric, hotfix Swarovski Rhinestones, and Hotfix Transfer Paper enough time to cool, usually only a few minutes. Peel back the hotfix transfer paper slowly assuring that all of your Hotfix Swarovski Rhinestones have bonded to your article of clothing or fabric of choice. Now enjoy your new Swarovski Rhinestone design!

This is a very fun and easy way to create your very own Swarovski Rhinestone clothing! This tank top was very inexpensive and I get compliments every where I go! Another great thing about our Hot Fix Transfer paper is that you can cut it to any size you like, for small or larger designs! The project above took about 30 min and I used size ss10 Hotfix Swarovski Rhinestones crystal clear. I ended up using just under 2 Gross (288 Hotfix Swarovski Rhinestones), so with the tank top and cost of our Hot Fix Swarovski Rhinestones at an unbeatable price, the project cost a total of $15!
